Russia: Manufactured Foe

To the Struggle Against World Terrorism | WIKIPEDIA | APR 21, 2017

To the Struggle Against World Terrorism (also known as the Tear of Grief and the Tear Drop Memorial) is a 10–story sculpture by Zurab Tsereteli that was given to the United States as an official gift of the Russian government as a memorial to the victims of the September 11 attacks in 2001 and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.[1] It stands at the end of the former Military Ocean Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey. Groundbreaking was done on September 16, 2005, in a ceremony attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin,[2] and was dedicated on September 11, 2006, in a ceremony attended by former U.S. President Bill Clinton.[1][3]

The Teardrop: A Gift from Russia to America That You Haven’t Heard About | GEOPOLITICS | AUG 16, 2015

Have you heard about a wonderful gift from the Russian people to the Americans on their 5th anniversary of WTC 911?

Said gift was funded by private donations and has received warm reception from those who understood the message, while the Cabalist media either ignored it outright, or chose to ridicule the sincerity of the effort [here, and here].

The Teardrop Memorial from Russia | SOAPBOXIE | MAY 24, 2016

When you ask someone where they were on September 11, 2001, expect a reply filled with vivid details. Unlike most other days, 9/11 had an impact on every American’s life, on the future of our country, and on the security of the world. As a life-defining day, it ranks right up there with the day Neil Armstrong spoke to the world from the surface of the moon, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” It became as life altering as the bullet fired from the sixth-floor window of Dallis’ Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963. And, like all widely shared defining events, 9/11 has many monuments and memorials to convey the significance of that horrendous day to generations yet to be born.

One of the more controversial of all the 9/11 memorials is the Russian inspired sculpture originally known as the “Tear Of Grief”. The forty-foot stainless steel replica of a teardrop suspended in a fractured 100-foot, 175-ton, bronze-clad tower now bears the official title “To the Struggle Against World Terrorism”. This extraordinary work is a gift to the United States from the citizens of Russia and from the renowned sculptor Zurab Tsereteli. Mr. Tsereteli first envisioned the image of the “Tear Of Grief” on September 11 after he witnessed the horrific destruction of the World Trade Center on Moscow television and, later, as he drove past a gathering of crying Muscovites in front of the nearby US embassy. He began the design of the “Tear Drop Memorial” on that same day.

On the trail of New York’s lost Teardrop: John Craven tracks down a forgotten monument to the 9/11 victims | DAILY MAIL | NOV 19, 2012

About 50 million people visit New York every year and more than eight million live there but no one seems to have heard of The Teardrop…which is odd because it is a 100ft tall, 175-ton memorial to those who died on the city’s blackest day.

Learning of its existence by chance, I tried to discover more from locals at Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre stood until September 11, 2001, and was met with blank expressions.

The one person who did know was an official guide but he said: ‘I bet 99 per cent of New Yorkers haven’t a clue where it is.’

Our search began at the World Trade Centre station, where a train took us to Exchange Place in New Jersey. From then on, instructions were vague – we had to catch a light-railway tram for eight stops along the Jersey shoreline to 34th Street in Bayonne and ask around.

Eventually someone walked by and kindly offered to call a local taxi firm on his mobile. He’d never heard of The Teardrop but luckily the taxi driver had. He drove us two miles across a wasteland which was once an army base until we came to an isolated quay.

And there, high on a mound, stood the monument – a massive bronze-clad block with a great gash down the middle into which is suspended a 40ft, four-ton shiny nickel teardrop.

In the far distance were the skyscrapers of Manhattan. Around the base of The Teardrop were the names of all those who died on 9/11 – including 26 Russians.

In fact the monument was a gift – an expression of grief – from the people of Russia to the US and officially named ‘To the struggle against world terrorism’. Vladimir Putin was there when construction began and Bill Clinton attended the dedication ceremony in 2006. Since then, it has been forgotten.

‘Nobody ever comes here,’ said the taxi driver. Indeed, we were the only visitors. Surely it hadn’t been snubbed because it was from an old enemy?

I did some research and found that its designer, Zurab Tsereteli – one of Russia’s leading sculptors – went to Ground Zero after the attack. He was told boats and ferries had shuttled survivors across to New Jersey, where many of the victims had lived. Learning that, he wanted his statue to be on the remote waterfront there with Manhattan as the backdrop.

So the explanation for the anonymity of this most touching tribute is probably no more sinister than: out of sight, out of mind – and that needs remedying.

No Trump, but a chance meeting with Putin in Bayonne | Quigley | NJ | OCT 30, 2016

The situation was a bit embarrassing to the United States, so quiet talks were held with other New Jersey officials to see what could be done with the thing. Joseph Doria, then Mayor of Bayonne, said his city would accept it and place it on the peninsula, an area awaiting development. Healy said “good riddance,” and plans were made to ship the memorial to Bayonne and install it by the next 9/11 anniversary.

The United Nations was holding a meeting of world leaders the same week and Vladimir Putin said he would personally present the memorial to the United States as a symbol of the friendship between our two countries. Former President Bill Clinton was there to accept it. Other elected officials were invited to attend – senators, congressmen, legislators — but not everyone came. And almost no one from the public showed up. There weren’t many cameras or reporters present either.

CRS FOREIGN ADOPTIONS RL31769 | WIKILEAKS (pdf) | SEP 9, 2005

United States citizens adopt more children from abroad than the citizens of all other countries combined, and the number of foreign children adopted annually by U.S. citizens has more than doubled in the last decade from 8,333 to 22,884. Over the previous five years, the largest number of children adopted have come from China (28,690), followed by Russia (24,561), and Guatemala (10,938).

Putin Signs Bill That Bars U.S. Adoptions, Upending Families | NEW YORK TIMES | DEC 27, 2012

MOSCOW —  President Vladimir V. Putin signed a bill on Friday that bans the adoption of Russian children by American citizens, dealing a serious blow to an already strained diplomatic relationship. But for hundreds of Americans enmeshed in the costly, complicated adoption process, the impact was deeply personal.

“I’m a little numb,” said Maria Drewinsky, a massage therapist from Sea Cliff, N.Y., who was in the final stages of adopting a 5-year-old boy named Alyosha. Both she and her husband have flown twice to visit him, and they speak to him weekly on the telephone. “We have clothes and a bedroom all set up for him, and we talk about him all the time as our son.”

But the couple fear that Alyosha may never get to New York. The ban is part of a bill retaliating against a new American law aimed at punishing human rights abuses in Russia.

Russian region completely bans foreign adoptions | RT | SEP 25, 2013

The legislature of the coal-mining territory of Kemerovo has voted to completely outlaw adoptions of local children by foreigners, making their region the first subject of the Russian Federation to introduce such a radical measure.

The official comments to the bill read that “the solution of the problem of adoption of Russian citizens is the internal issue of the Russian state.”

One of the Kemerovo lawmakers, Galina Solovyova, has said that the work on the bill had commenced because of numerous reports about violations of rights of children adopted into foreign families, about cruel treatment or even violent deaths of such kids. She also recalled that some Western nations had dedicated internet resources “allowing to buy and sell adopted Russian children,” most likely referring to the recently-uncovered underground adoptions network that allowed US adoptive parents to “re-home” kids they no longer wanted.

Currently there are two nationwide adoption bans in Russia – the ban on adoptions by US citizens and by proxy of US organizations came into force in late December 2012, and the ban on adoptions by foreign same-sex couples was introduced in early July this year.

US adoptions of foreign children plunge to 21-year low in part due to Russia ban | THE GUARDIAN | MAR 21, 2014

The number of foreign children adopted by US parents plunged by 18% last year to the lowest level since 1992, due in part to Russia’s ban on adoptions by Americans. Adoptions from South Korea and Ethiopia also dropped sharply.

Figures released Friday by the State Department for the 2013 fiscal year showed 7,094 adoptions from abroad, down from 8,668 in 2012 and down about 69% from the high of 22,884 in 2004. The number has dropped every year since then.

As usual, China accounted for the most children adopted in the US. But its total of 2,306 was far below the peak of 7,903 in 2005.

Ethiopia was second at 993, a marked decline from 1,568 adoptions in 2012. Ethiopian authorities have been trying to place more abandoned children with relatives or foster families, and have intensified scrutiny of orphanages to ensure that children placed for adoption are not part of any improper scheme.

Russia had been third on the list in 2012, with 748 of its children adopted by Americans. But that number dropped to 250 for 2013, representing adoptions completed before Russia’s ban took effect.

The ban served as retaliation for a US law targeting alleged Russian human-rights violators. It also reflected resentment over the 60,000 Russian children adopted by Americans in the past two decades, about 20 of whom died from abuse, neglect or other causes while in the care of their adoptive parents.

Putin Tells Gays to “Leave Kids Alone” at the Olympics | SLATE | JAN 17, 2014

Russian President Vladimir Putin clearly hates gay people, but he can’t seem to decide exactly how much. In the run-up to the Sochi Winter Olympics, Putin pushed through a grotesquely homophobic bill that effectively bans being gay in public. Then, anticipating mass protests against the law at Sochi, the president designated “forbidden” and “controlled zones” around the games to forestall any pro-gay demonstrations. But soon after, he explicitly stated that gay athletes and fans are welcome at the Olympics.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin links gays to pedophiles | USA TODAY | APR 19, 2014

MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered new assurances to gay athletes and fans attending the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics next month. Yet he defended Russia’s anti-gay law by equating gays with pedophiles and said Russia needs to “cleanse” itself of homosexuality if it wants to increase its birth rate.

Putin’s comments in an interview broadcast Sunday with Russian and foreign television stations showed the wide gulf between the perception of homosexuality in Russia versus the West.

A Russian law passed last year banning “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations” among minors has caused an international outcry.

Putin refused to answer a question from the BBC on whether he believes that people are born gay or become gay. The Russian law, however, suggests that information about homosexuality can influence a child’s sexual orientation.

Putin Describes The ‘Meaning Of Life’ | BUSINESS INSIDER | NOV 7, 2014

Russian President Vladimir Putin took a quick break from politics to describe the ‘the meaning of life’ at the 15th Congress of the Russian Geographical Society.

“In general, love is the whole meaning of life, of being. Love of family, of children, and of the Motherland. It is such a multifaceted phenomenon that is the basis of all our actions,” he said in the conclusion of a speech at the event, reports RIA Novosti.

Putin: ‘Love is the meaning of life’ | RT | NOV 7, 2014

Vladimir Putin is known for his sharp wit, but musings on love are a relative novelty. In an unexpected remark Friday, the Russian president spoke of the “meaning of life,” saying that for him “in general” it is love that matters.

Briefly digressing from politics, Putin ventured a philiosophical observation that “multifaceted” love is the basis of all actions and the essence of being.

“The meaning of our whole life and existence is love,” Putin told his audience at the 15th Congress of the Russian Geographical Society. “It is love for the family, for the children, for the motherland. This is a multifaceted phenomenon; it lies at heart of any of our behaviors.”

Putin, who chairs the board of trustees at the Russian Geographical Society, went on to express his hopes that “joint work” would help strengthen love for the motherland.

“It is exactly the top priority which all of us should go after, and I am absolutely sure that we will succeed,” he added.

Putin has spoken at length about the necessity to attract more interest in geography among younger Russians, saying it “can and should be one of the most interesting subjects in school.”

The president also suggested launching a National Geographical Quiz for testing knowledge in this field.

‘The Meaning of Life is Love’, Says Putin, Revealing Softer Side | IB TIMES | NOV 8, 2014

Russian President Vladimir Putin, better known for his barbed criticisms of the West and his uncompromising defence of Russian interests, has revealed he believes love is the meaning of life.

Vladimir Putin says love is the meaning of life | WASHINGTON POST | NOV 7, 2014

Vladimir Putin, a man well-known for his love of history and geopolitics, revealed another side to himself Friday. While giving a speech at the Russian Geographical Society, Putin spelled out the heart of his philosophy: the power of love.

“The meaning of our whole life and existence is love,” Putin told his audiences. “It is love to the family, to the children, to the motherland. This phenomenon is complicated, it lies at heart of any of our behaviors.”

The real reason Russia wants to ban adoptions by ‘dangerous’ American families | WASHINGTON POST | DEC 28, 2012

As it turns out, the ban on American adoptions is remarkably popular in Russia. A new Russian survey finds that 56 percent support the ban and 21 percent oppose, a ratio of almost three-to-one. The support seems to stem from a belief that American families are dangerous, cruel, and at times violent to their adoptive Russian children. More than half of respondents who want to ban American adoptions cite either hostile American families or the fact that some adopted Russians have died in the U.S. A much smaller number say that Russian children would be best served by keeping them in their home country. A still-smaller minority, about 10 percent of those who support the ban, say that U.S. families want to adopt Russian children for free labor or to sell their organs. A number of Russians also say that Americans like to adopt from Russia because the Russian adoption system is cheaper and less cumbersome, although in fact the Russian adoption process is both expensive (about $50,000 per child, maybe twice the rate in China) and burdened by new regulations imposed in 2006.

The Russians who support the ban are more likely to be older, rural and lower-income. Their answers are consistent with a version of Russian nationalism that sees the United States as a violent, dangerous place. That view has been popularized in films such as 2000’s “Brother 2,” in which a vigilante Russian man must rescue fellow nationals from decaying American cities ridden by crime and corruption.

Vladimir Putin: Pedophilia Is Essentially Satanic | VETERANS TODAY | JAN 7, 2017

Obviously pedophiles, Neocons, and other New World Order agents will never forgive Putin because he is making those people look really bad. If those people are pursuing a satanic ideology, says Putin, then they are in “the path to degradation.”

Can you think of any Western politician who can entertain questions even from virulent opponents for four hours? Has any Western leader been able to do that in recent memory? How about George W. Bush? Obama? Perhaps Angela Merkel?

Well, Vladimir Putin has been able to do just that. In fact, he did exactly that at the end of last month. Throughout his speech and discussion, Putin again brought the moral issue back on the political table, which inexorably is at the root of nearly all the current political conflicts in the Middle East and elsewhere. Putin certainly did not fail to deliver:

“Many Western states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization. In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied – national, religious, cultural and even gender identities are being denied or relativized.”[1]

The fact that he raised the gender identity issues, which he said “are being denied or relativized,” is a pointed rebuke to Satanism, which basically articulates the promiscuous idea that morality should not play any role in identifying gender and that pedophilia is simply a relic of the past.

This is also a pointed rebuke to leading Satanists like Sigmund Freud and Wilhelm Reich, who postulated that sexual liberation should be pursued at any cost. Reich meant it when he postulated in his Sexual Revolution:

“The first precondition for the improvement of human and sexual relationships is the absolute break with those moral views which base their commandments either on allegedly supernatural arrangements or on arbitrary law or simply tradition. The laws of morality should also be founded on the insights gained by progressive science.”[2]

9 of Hillary Clinton’s biggest accomplishments | HILLARY CLINTON | FEB 14, 2017

Over her decades-long career in public service, Hillary Clinton has taken on her share of tough fights. Here are just a few of the biggest things she’s accomplished—and she’s not done yet.
  1. Fought for children and families for 40 years and counting.

After law school, Hillary could have gone to work for a prestigious law firm, but took a job at the Children’s Defense Fund. She worked with teenagers incarcerated in adult prisons in South Carolina and families with disabled children in Massachusetts. It sparked a lifelong passion for helping children live up to their potential.

EXCLUSIVE: Child rape victim comes forward for the first time in 40 years to call Hillary Clinton a ‘liar’ who defended her rapist by smearing her, blocking evidence and callously laughing that she knew he was guilty | DAILY MAIL | AUG 9, 2016

A child rape victim says she cannot forgive Hillary Clinton for defending her rapist in court 40 years ago, saying the Democratic presidential candidate attacked her credibility despite knowing that her assailant was guilty – and  later laughed about it in a taped interview.

Kathy Shelton was just 12 years old when a 41-year-old drifter raped her on the side of a desolate Arkansas road in 1975.

Now, four decades later, she has agreed to be named and pictured for the first time in this Daily Mail Online exclusive because she is furious that her rapist’s defense attorney – Hillary Clinton – has been portraying herself as a lifelong advocate of women and girls on the campaign trail.

Rape Victim: Hillary Clinton Laughed At Me And Blamed Me For Getting Raped | THE FEDERALIST | OCT 11, 2016

When Kathy Shelton was 12 years old, she was raped by Thomas Alfred Taylor, a 41-year-old man who served less than a year in prison after Hillary Clinton got him off on a legal technicality.

In 1975, Clinton was Taylor’s court-appointed lawyer and has since laughed about getting him off and even intimated that she thought he was guilty, which can be heard in audio recordings obtained and published by The Washington Free Beacon.

How George Soros destabilizes countries | JOHN GRAYSON BLOG | JAN 16, 2017

This is why Putin banned Soros – Soros is damaging to Putin’s interests in strengthening Russia. Russia successfully went through their anti-globalism phase decades ago that we’re going through right now. And yet we shouldn’t trust Putin either, for American interests.

See, “political gaslighting” mentioned earlier has been used by Putin to consolidate power as a form of “nonlinear” or “asymmetric” warfare (according to Vladislav Surkov, a decade’s long political advisor to Vladimir Putin) for political control.

Like Vladislav Surkov mentioned, it’s all about confusing the people so effectively that they don’t realize what’s real and what’s not anymore – a concept borrowed from the politically correct liberal art world – the movement, which interestingly, was funded by the CIA in their “Cultural Cold War” against the Soviet Union!

Putin initially utilizing such techniques wasn’t a bad thing per se, as Russia was completely controlled by Globalists until he took power (and kept it, with his power switching operation of 2008).

On the surface, it seems like he’s lost his way:

“A superpower is a cold war term. When people today say that Russia aspires to have this status, I interpret it in the following way: they want to undermine trust in Russia, to portray Russia as frightening, and create some kind of image of an enemy. … Russia is in favor of a multipolar world, a democratic world order, strengthening the system of international law, and for developing a legal system in which any small country, even a very small country, can feel itself secure, as if behind a stone wall. … Russia is ready to become part of this multipolar world and guarantee that the international community observes these rules. And not as a superpower with special rights, but rather as an equal among equals”.

Leaked Memo Exposes George Soros’ Plan To Overthrow Putin & Destabilise Russia | ZEROHEDGE | AUG 25, 2016

The recent DC Leaks, of over 2,500 documents from George Soros NGOs, has shed a bright light on how the billionaire uses his vast wealth to create global chaos in an never ending push to deliver his neo-liberal euphoria to the peasant classes.

While Soros has managed to thoroughly destabilise the European Union by promoting mass immigration and open borders, divided the United States by actively funding Black Lives Matters and corrupting the very corruptible US political class, and destroyed Ukraine by pushing for an illegal coup of a democratically elected government using neo-nazi strong men…one country that Soros has not bee able to crack has been The Russian Federation.

Russia’s political pragmatism and humanist value system rooted in a traditional, “nation-state” culture most likely infuriates Soros.

Russia is Soros’ white whale… a creature he has been trying to capture and kill-off for nearly a decade.

Unfortunately for Soros (and fortunately for the entire planet) the Russian government realised the cancerous nature of Soros backed NGOs, and took the proper preventative measures…which in hindsight, and after reviewing the DC Leaks memos, proved to be a very wise move.

Soros slams Putin for ‘heinous crimes against humanity’ in Syria | CNBC | OCT 6, 2016

Billionaire investor George Soros has vehemently condemned Russia’s bombing campaign in Syria, accusing President Vladimir Putin of aggressively exploiting a power void in the White House ahead of the upcoming U.S. presidential elections.
“The world is witnessing a humanitarian catastrophe of historic proportions. It is happening in Syria. It is being perpetrated by the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in support of his protégé, (Syrian President) Bashar al-Assad,” he said in a new statement on his website posted on Thursday morning.
“When the facts are fully established, Putin’s bombing of Aleppo will be viewed as among the modern world’s most egregious war crimes.”

George Soros’ world is falling apart – and he blames everyone but himself | RT | JAN 7, 2017

George Soros, the Hungarian-born billionaire who has meddled in politics across Europe and North America for decades, is angry. The world he campaigned for is falling apart, and now he’s busy looking for leaders to indict.

According to Soros, liberal democracy is failing all across the western world. Apparently, this is because what he calls the “open society” is in crisis. Now, he may very well be right about this, but pinning it on Angela Merkel seems somewhat bizarre. Especially when she is painted as being inadvertently in league with Vladimir Putin. But, nevertheless, it’s the German chancellor he regards as most culpable for why voters have become disenchanted with modern democracy.
